Introduction to the course
We are going to dig into the history of slavery in the United States of America during the next few units. Each unit includes a couple of assignments. All units are divided into several themes all concerning slavery.
During the following lessons you have to work on homework assignments and hand them in through SOMToday or via your Teams page. Make sure you put all the assignments into one document and send this to your teacher before 10 May 2023. Your teacher will take a look at your assignments and give you feedback along the way. Doing these assignments is your own responsibility and definitely helps you prepare for the literature exam which will take place at the end of the course.
You will end this literature project with an exam during the testweek in May. More information about this is to be found under the tab ‘Final Test’.
Finally, you can always get in touch with your teacher by sending him/her an email or by asking him/her for help in class.
Good luck with the course!
